Nong Khiaw is renowned for its remote and stunning mountainous landscape. This is a one-day trekking tour through some of the most stunning mountains in the area. Start your tour with a majestic boat ride up the Nam Ou River We’ll visit a traditional mixed Khmu, Lao Leum and Hmong village known for its handicrafts and you’ll have a chance to see an active clay school built by Tiger Trail and volunteers. End your day with a Tuk Tuk ride back to the small town of Nong Khiaw.

This half day trip will guide you out of Nong Khiaw and to the top of the second highest mountain in the town. The short and adventurous trail guides you up into the jungle and ancient high altitude forests surrounding the town. The steep part of the hike is difficult but the expansive panoramic view of Nong Khiaw is worth every step.

This is medium biking, mostly level, with a few steep hills.
